Welcome to Thekkadath Mahadeva Temple
തെക്കടത്ത് മഹാദേവക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക നാമം “ആലുമ്മൂട്ടിൽ തെക്കടത്ത് ശ്രീമഹാദേവർ ക്ഷേത്രം” എന്നാണ്. രജി നമ്പർ: 65/85. മുട്ടം പി.ഒ., ഹരിപ്പാട്.
The official name of the temple is “Aalummoottil Thekkadath Sreemahadevar Kshethram.” Registration No: 65/85. Muttom P.O., Harippad.
തെക്കടത്ത് ശിവക്ഷേത്രം ആലുമ്മൂട്ടിൽ കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ആത്മീയ ആരാധനാലയമാണ്. ശിവചൈതന്യത്തിന്റെ ശാന്തിയും ശക്തിയും ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഏകുന്ന ഈ അമ്പലം ഹരിപ്പാട്ടിൽ നിന്നും മാവേലിക്കര പോകുന്ന വഴി, മുട്ടം എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു.
Thekkadath Shiva Temple is the spiritual shrine of the Alummoottil family. Bestowing the serenity and strength of Shiva consciousness upon devotees, this temple is situated in the village of Muttom, along the road from Harippad to Mavelikkara.
ചരിത്രപരമായി ആലുമ്മൂട്ടിൽ കുടുംബം നടത്തിയിരുന്ന പ്രാചീനമായ ഒരു കളരിയായിരുന്നു തെക്കടത്ത്. ആലുമ്മൂട്ടിൽ തറവാടിന്റെ ദക്ഷിണഭാഗത്തായി സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ പുണ്യസ്ഥലം മുട്ടം ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ മുഖമുദ്രയാണ്.
Historically, Thekkadath was an ancient kalari operated by the Alummoottil family. Located on the southern side of the Alummoottil tharavad, this sacred space stands as a defining landmark of Muttom village.
തലമുറകളായി കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾ ക്ഷേത്രത്തെ പവിത്രതയോടെ സംരക്ഷിച്ചു വരുന്നു. ദൈനംദിന പൂജകളും മഹാശിവരാത്രി മഹോത്സവവും ക്ഷേത്രചൈതന്യം വർധിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. എത്തുന്ന ഓരോ ഭക്തനും ആത്മശാന്തി അനുഭവിക്കാൻ ക്ഷേത്രവും, കാവും, പരിസരവും പാരമ്പര്യപരിവേഷത്തിൽ വിശ്വാസികൾ കാത്തുസൂക്ഷിക്കുന്നു.
For generations, family members have preserved the temple with reverence. Daily poojas and the annual Maha Shivaratri festival enhance the spiritual vibrancy of the temple. Devotees lovingly maintain the temple, the sacred grove, and its surroundings in traditional sanctity so that every visitor may experience inner peace.
